Homemade bread without yeast
2 cups maida or wheat flour
1 cup dahi
1 cup milk
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp powdered sugar
3 TSP pkt eno
1/2 TSP baking powder
1 tsp is 4.9 ml
Preheat the oven, take curd in a mixing bowl and add sugar and salt. Whisk well and don’t over mix it.
Add eno to it.
In a small cup add milk and baking powder and mix well. Then slowly add little mixture to the curd concoction.
Whisk everything together. Then gradually add flour and fold it nicely. Batter is not a very thick and not flowing. But make sure it’s lump free.
Grease the pan and then pour the mixture in it. Don’t fill it more than 3/4th, it should be less than 3/4th only as bread will rise and need space.
Bake it for 20-25 mins at 250 degrees. After that reduce temperature to 200 for next 20 mins. Check with toothpick once done, it should come out clean.
Let it cool for 4-5 hours
And then cut slices.
You can add seeds like flax, seasame after you pour the mixture before baking.
For different flavours before puting flavour, you can add garlic for garlic flavour or add seeds for seeds one. If you want multigrain, replace wheat flour with multi grain flour.
Share pictures of your breads. Since I made for the first time, I halved the measurements and that’s why my bread size was small.
