Image
Today while working at office, I just felt as if i should start with my own store, I have the idea, I just need some capital for that. Now, I wish to start this very soon. I have a name in mind, I have a place in mind, just need to execute it. I hope i get some capital for it, Let me make a budget, how much would i require for it.

I want to laugh; I want to cry; I want to quit; I want to stay. It's rewarding; it's maddening. It's new, yet I feel like I've done this forever. And, on the days when it feels impossible, I am often shown just how many possibilities exist! This is my diatribe, my rant, my gratitude list, and my dream. You are invited! I decided to work with Pratham mainly because kids teach me more than what I ever can learn with passion. They have the energy, innocence and drive which is seen in adults as well but it is in a purer form when it comes to kids. I also decided to be a part of the organization because I feel a sense of satisfaction when I am with the kids. This happens because very few things in life are done selflessly or without some or the other motives….being with the kids enables me to nurture my true self and find happiness in what I am doing. In Pratham, I have gathered a vivid experience of variety of things in a very short span of time. Life in the slums is

WHO I AM

I like to look and listen, I need to touch and try, I want to smell and sample and ask the question "Why?" Give me time to wonder, to imagine and pretend, space to run and bend and stretch, share secrets with a friend. I want to hold and handle, I must play to understand, for i need to know so many things to find out who I am.

I remember so well the day you came into my life.. You asked me if I LOVE YOU You had the most amazing and beautiful smile. My life started to change, I would wake each day feeling alright. With you right by my side, makes me feel things will work out just fine. How did you know I needed someone like you in my life, that there's an empty space in my heart. You came at the right time in my life. I'll never forget, How you brought the sun to shine in my life, and took all the worries and fears that i had. I guess what I'm really trying to say.. It's not everyday that someone like you comes my way, no words can ever express how much I LOVE YOU

Last week, I attended a classroom session of Community class as well as the Balgarh class in LaxmiBhatta, one of the slum areas of Jaipur. It was an early start to my day, I had gone to the class along wi th the Promoter and Coordinator Ritu . It was an hour’s drive from the main city. Classes run in the house of the teacher , Jeenat is a young married girl. There are no governm ent schools in that area. Only a few private schools are running and parents because of their low economic background are not able to afford the education of their childr en. It's been a year since our classes are running there. N IOS class time is from 10-12 in the morning and 12-1 Balgarh class is being conducted. A continuous effort is being made to search for a new teacher for pre-school cl ass, but no success has been achieved yet. In NIOS class, a total 21 children have enrolled with just one boy and rest of the girls. Jeenat helps the children in reading, writing and learning in Hindi and M

If someone sees this place then he cn nvr identify Rajasthan with only dry arid lands, we hv so much diversity in our state, it's enticing to see it, bt it's sad to see the conditions of the villages, especially it's sad to see wen an 8 year old child dnt even knw to read n write, nd above all ppl who r appointed thr fr making better future of the Kids they are busy filling their pockets thru smthng or the other source by making villagers fool..
